comic
Many job interviews start with "Tell me about yourself," but this is not really what they have in mind.
"I was hatched on a warm spring day in 1881 outside Nantucket, which was a big surprise to the Nantuckians who'd been trying to figure out what those big ol' eggs they'd found floating in the sea were (& I'm told they were thinking of eating them)...
"Anyway once my brother and I hatched, the townspeople took us up to the nearby monastery, which turned out to be a front for something called the 'Ancient Order of the Dodo,' go figure, huh, darn small world, but it's like I've always said, you never know when life's going to throw you a red salamander, do you, but anyway the monks raised us as their own, and taught us dodo language and history and all that . . . "

Any resemblance between anything in the comic and anything in reality is a coincidence. No, really. Why would I want to give them the publicity?
